I decided recently to turn my gaming computer into a macos computer for work purposes, its been about a week now and its been a rough road but finally I'm farther than I have ever been and I'm excited. I created a bootable USB via Unibeast using a full version of Macos High Sierra (twice now), I get to the installer just fine but when i select Install Macos then Continue, Continue the installer tells me 'the recovery server could not be contacted' why is it trying to contact the server? I have a USB plugged into a USB 2.0 port right there. Reguardless I tried to used an ethernet cable hoping it would be that easy (but of course its not) it just takes a little longer to tell me the same thing. I've searched the internet but can't seem to find a definitive answer/fix Thanks in advance! Comments are closed.
